In doing so, those parents still have their little girl.

Things were put into perspective for me too, yesterday. For over a week now I've been so worried and obsessed over dental work I need done, and then yesterday - just 8 minutes away from my house - a mother was shot dead outside her pediatrician's office. The baby was only 3 days old, and was kidnapped. Thankfully, the Texas Rangers found the baby last night. He was safe and unharmed.

It's a scary world we live in, and it's a shame that it's always instances such as these which puts things into perspective so quickly. That was a very poignant post you made. Thanks to that girl reaching out, and you helping her and contacting her parents... things in her life can move forward now.

KristinKristin_Texashttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03405146061692261631noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3379672850581718621.post-26941597736669403202012-04-18T06:29:08.339-07:002012-04-18T06:29:08.339-07:00I got goosebumps as I read your wonderful post. I...I got goosebumps as I read your wonderful post. It is amazing that so many things had to fall into place to keep the story from ending tragically. What if you were having a great morning and decided to go for a walk? What if she hadn't been so persistent and stopped after the 4th attempt to call you? What if your husband hadn't been home to reach her mother? Too many "what if's" to ignore. You are blessed to have a friend like Kay. And please don't stop the radio shows - that's how a lot of us have found you.Julie in OKChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03498141775399317389noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3379672850581718621.post-11253948613580677882012-04-17T19:15:45.371-07:002012-04-17T19:15:45.371-07:00I wish there was a way to get some of the people I...I wish there was a way to get some of the people I know to understand this!
